Managing Director & Chairman

Daniel Sterneby has gained more than 20 years of international financial experience. Before joining ACT in 2010 he worked as a private banker for Banque Havilland and Kaupthing Bank in Luxembourg. In 2002 he participated in establishing Svenska Handelsbanken Zurich Branch. Prior to that he was head of investment management at Svenska Handelsbanken Haninge Centrum Branch (Stockholm). Daniel holds a BBA in Business Finance from Örebro Universitet in Sweden and in Economics from Johannes Kepler Univeristät Linz in Austria. He speaks Swedish, English and German and has basic knowledge in French and Spanish. Daniel lives with his wife and daughter near Zurich. He enjoys spending spare time together with family and friends, when possible on the Swedish west coast or in the Swiss Alps. Daniel also likes playing golf, skiing and snowboarding.

Jessica Sterneby

Jessica Sterneby

Chief Investment Officer

Jessica has over 20 years of experience from the financial sector. Over the years she has built up a broad international network of experts within the financial area, such as lawyers, international tax advisors and corporate administrators. Before joining ACT in 2018, Jessica worked for seven years as Executive Director and Senior Relationship Manager for Bank Julius Baer in Zurich. Prior to Julius Baer, she worked 17 years for Svenska Handelsbanken; starting on a part-time basis in Gothenburg, working as Relationship Manager in Stockholm and in Luxembourg, and eventually as Head of the Advisory Team and Deputy Branch Manager in Zurich. Jessica graduated with a Master´s degree in Economics from Jönköping International Business School, Sweden, and Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. Jessica is fluent in Swedish, English, and German. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, artwork, reading, and playing golf.

 

André Luedi

André Lüdi

Managing Director

André Lüdi has worked over 30 years in the financial sector, both in investment banking and private banking. After completing his banking apprenticeship at Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) in Basel, he worked for 14 years until 1996 as a precious metals & foreign exchange trader for different banks in Basel, Geneva and Toronto. He also worked for Zurich Insurance before he started in 1998 in private banking. During 8 years he took care of wealthy private clients from Scandinavia as a private banker at UBS AG and VP Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. In June 2006, he founded an asset management company that he operated 9 years as a managing partner and was member of the Aquila Group. André completed several training programs in finance and acquired the certificate Risk & Return of the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen. He speaks German, English, French and has basic knowledge of Swedish. He dedicates his free time to his family and his hobbies such as skiing, soccer and traveling.

Thanos Levantis has over 15 years of experience in private banking and 6 years in the industrial sector. Before joining ACT in 2020, Thanos worked for seven years at Bank Julius Baer in Geneva and for six years at Barclays Wealth in London and Geneva, looking after high net worth individuals from Greece, Cyprus and the United Kingdom. Thanos holds a BSc in Economic Sciences from the University of Pireaus in Greece and an MBA from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. He speaks Greek, English, Italian and has basic knowledge in French and German. He lives with his wife and two sons outside Geneva. At his spare time he enjoys travelling, cycling and snowboarding.

Helena Baner

Helena Banér

Helena Banér has over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. Before joining ACT in 2021, Helena worked at St.Galler Kantonalbank. Prior, she worked at M.M Warburg Bank and for 10 years in Private Banking at Jyske Bank in Zurich. Helena started her banking career at SEB in Stockholm, continuing for six years at SEB Private Banking in Luxembourg before moving to Zurich in 2005. Helena studied International Business Administration at Lund University, English and Chemistry at Stockholm University. She also had complementary studies at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Paris, Sacred Heart University in Luxembourg, and at Stockholm School of Economics. Helena speaks Swedish, English, French, and German. In her spare time, she enjoys horse riding and skiing.
